NWS Yorktown
Introduction
An 89-acre vacant site located within the boundaries of the Cheatham Annex at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown in southeastern Virginia could be made available for development under the U.S. Navy’s enhanced use lease (“EUL”) program. This site is located on Jones Pond on the northwestern edge of Naval Weapons Station Yorktown in proximity to the City of Williamsburg, about 35 miles north of Norfolk. The site has forested land, rolling hills, no known environmental or unexploded ordnance issues, and offers excellent access to Interstate 64.
