Whidbey Island
Introduction
A Phase I market and feasibility study has been conducted for two potential EUL opportunities designated by the Navy at NASWI, which are both located on the Seaplane Base area of NASWI. The two opportunities are: Building 12, an unoccupied 22,318-square-foot, two-story plus basement office building completed in 1942; and a 4.87-acre portion of the seaplane ramp and tie-down area that was the site of the former, temporary Navy Lodge that is commonly known as the Train Wreck Site (“Train Wreck Site”).
