South Depot Annex
Introduction
A 52-acre site consisting of 918,000 square feet of warehouse space located near the boundaries of Naval Station Norfolk in southeastern Virginia could be made available for development under the U.S. Navy’s enhanced use lease (“EUL”) program. The site is known as the South Depot Annex (SDA) and is located adjacent to the Virginia Port Authority’s Norfolk International Terminals. The site’s ten warehouses were built in the 1940’s. The largest current tenant is the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO).
