A Phase I market and feasibility study has been conducted for a 4.34 -acre site that currently contains existing surface parking and two out-of-service barracks. The site includes approximately .8 acres of wetlands and has no known environmental or unexploded ordinance issues. Buildings 442 and 447 are 35,068 sq. ft. and 51,273 sq. ft. respectively and are scheduled to be demolished. This site has excellent access to the main highway and is located on the Southeast corner of Naval Submarine Base New London (“NSBNL”) in Groton Connecticut, about 50 mile east of New Haven.
